“Starting at Zero: Reimagining Education in America” is an
award-winning documentary made in 2020 that explores the
power of investing in high-quality early childhood education
so that all children and families can attain the American
Dream. It examines the latest developmental brain science to
demonstrate how essential the early years are to maximize
human potential. Governors, educators, business leaders,
pediatricians, parents and children’s voices tell the story. All
E-Series programs are open to all and free of charge as part of
the Emerson Center’s mission to provide quality educational
and thought-provoking events for our community.
