Although it’s not the bright lights of Broadway,
some of the area’s finest actors and wanabees grace
the auditorium stages at St. Lucie County high
schools each year. And who’s to say that the teen
you see today on a high school stage won’t become the star
of tomorrow?
Jay Garcia, a graduate of Port St. Lucie Lucie High School
Class of 1998, stars in New York’s off-Broadway production
of the “Altar Boyz,” after spending a year touring with the
show. Fellow graduates working in the business include
Zach Santoro, who is out in Los Angeles working to make it
