The Budnick home has 19-foot ceilings.
“So how do you change a light bulb with a 19-foot ceiling?”
Robert Budnick asked. “Here, you just call and they send
someone over to do it.”
Tesoro sales materials call it “giving you time to concentrate
on the more important things.”
The Budnicks were 28-year Broward County residents
when they heard about Tesoro.
“My mother was going to come to live with us, and we
wanted a place filled with peace and beauty and tranquility
that would bring back memories of happiness,” Judie
Budnick said.
Tesoro was still a site plan on paper when the Budnicks
began thinking about it.
“So when we actually bought our property, Tesoro was still
strictly a Bobby Ginn vision,” she said.
After considering several lots, they settled on one that
would overlook both water and extensive vistas of golf course.
Beauty is everywhere in Tesoro. Just driving up to the
ornate Italian-style entrance gatehouse is an experience.
Formal flower gardens form sweeping curved wings on both
sides of Via Tesoro, the main street. A tower with silvery
water flowing from white sculptured fountains on all sides
rests in a curving patchwork of yellow, red and purple
blooms circled around the base.
