What inspires me: “The everyday
beauty of life…older couples who
still hold hands, babies who laugh,
puppies that lick your face, hymns
in church, my husband and my friends.”
What most people don't know about me: “I am a cancer
survivor. In 1987 I was diagnosed with lymphoma, underwent
6 months of severe chemotherapy and have for the
past twenty years been cancer-free.”
Goal: “To be inspirational to others who want to write. I tell
them to write about an episode of their lives, which will
leave behind a wonderful inheritance to their families.”
