The Young Professionals of the Treasure Coast
sampled wines and food while hosting their
first fund-raiser, Taste the Spirit. Held at
Azure Fine Dining &
Grill in Port St. Lucie,
the event included a silent auction
with gift baskets and a business
card raffle – all for the benefit of
the Association of Retarded
Citizens of St. Lucie County.
This group of energetic young
people was created to develop
professional skills, promote philanthropic
outreach, and distinguish
future leaders throughout
the Treasure Coast. As a partner of
the St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce, the group
holds professional development workshops, networking/
social events, and community outreach activities.
Since its founding in 2006, YPTC has partnered with
organizations like the United Way, CASTLE, Boys &
Girls Club, the Treasure Coast Food Bank, Hibiscus
Children’s Center, the American Cancer Society and
many others. Its members come from diverse backgrounds,
with careers in banking, drafting, engineering,
environmental consultation, graphic design, public
relations, education, law and more.
