Stride or Ride With miles of paved and unpaved trails and
boardwalks, there is no shortage of ways to
experience St. Lucie on foot, or wheels.
STRIDE:
St. Lucie’s intriguing hiking trails total more
than 50 miles! For a waterfront view while
you walk, try the Boardwalk at the Port in
Port St. Lucie or the River Walk in downtown
Fort Pierce. For those who can trek on
uneven surfaces, scores of choices exist. Just
remember, as you explore, be mindful that
you are stepping through Mother Nature’s
backyard — leave no trace behind.

Experience inland Florida on the 44-mile
round-trip Cowboy Trail ride that parallels
Okeechobee Road (State Road 70), just
