‘‘ WHAT R E A D E R S S AY
True boater’s paradise. Floating docks,
all necessary amenities, entertainment
‘‘ Safe location and great staff!
Fort Pierce City Marina is exceptional, no doubt about it.
Pilot your boat straight to a dock from the Atlantic —
no turns, no extra mileage. Get off the boat and walk
right into a park or a quaint and beautiful downtown with
shops, restaurants and a theater.
The marina was named a 2018 Boaters’ Choice marina
by Marinas.com last year. The award puts it in the top 2
percent of U.S. marinas listed on that site. It features a stateof
the-art dock system with more than 200 slips and storm
protection in the form of innovative man-made islands to
block heavy waves. It has free Wi-Fi, two fueling stations,
water hook-ups, electricity, complimentary pump-outs,
transient and longer-term dockage, a boat ramp and even a
fish-cleaning station and weigh station.
Quickly fuel up your boat and visit the charming gift
shop. If it’s a Saturday, the downtown Fort Pierce Farmer’s
Market will draw you in with its fresh foods, handmade
products, plants and the chance to have a great breakfast.
This is one of the top farmer’s markets in the state.
Love to fish? It’s easy! Try the Indian River Lagoon, the
Fort Pierce Inlet, or head out to the ocean. You can also find
charter fishing boats at the marina. And, there are sightseeing
tours as well. You can also find kayaks and stand-up
paddleboards for rent nearby. Visit two museums, walk over
to the Manatee Observation and Education Center to see
the gentle sea cows foraging in the sea grass and visit the
historic P.P. Cobb building.
