famed Florida landscape painters
who first were known in the 1950s
when they sold their works from

Harbor Branch at the Elliott
Museum – Celebrating 50 Years
of Ocean Science for a Better
World – Imagined and built in
the 1970s by famed inventor and
Harbor Branch visionary Edwin A.
Link, the Johnson-Sea-Link II ran
manned, deep-sea dive exploration
excursions going to depths of
900 meters. Its sister-sub, the JSL
I, is displayed at the FAU Harbor
Branch campus. But the Sea-Link II
is on display at the Elliott Museum
in Stuart through a partnership
with Harbor Branch Oceanographic
Institute north of Fort Pierce. The
two Sea-Links enabled spectacular
discoveries of new species.
