SUNRISE THEATRE

Gift tickets to the 1,200-seat Sunrise Theatre, restored to its 1923 perfection in downtown Fort Pierce, offer friends and family a chance to see a great variety of local, regional and national shows.

This year the whole family will love ventriloquist Terry Fator’s amazing singing impersonations of celebrity talent. He burst into prominence on America’s Got Talent. One Night of Queen is back on April 30 and it’s always sold out. Maybe a gift ticket will get you in.

Masters of Illusion are back to amaze with their magic tricks. Have a great time with the traveling show The Price is Right Live – play the games and maybe win! Kenny G returns for the first time in several years with his smooth signature sound. The National Dance Company of Ireland will have you in awe of its skill and energy as it performs Rhythm of the Dance.

Experience a great Chris Botti concert – the trumpeter is a Grammy Award winner at home in everything from jazz to pop to rock. And don’t forget favorite ABBA Mania in February.

The Black Box Theatre in the Sunrise is an ideal space for comedy, cool jazz and more. The Sunrise is on the National Register of Historic Places.

RIVERSIDE THEATRE

Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach has a tremendous season coming starting in January 2022. There are so many must-sees on the list you may find it hard to choose – maybe you or your friends will want to see all of them. To the delight of audiences, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s masterpiece Carousel hits the stage first on Jan. 4. Inspiring and hopeful, it brings just the right note to this second season of the pandemic.

On Your Feet will have the audience wanting to dance as the energetic story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan unfolds before your eyes. Billy Elliot is uplifting and electrifying as it tells its inspirational tale. Rounding out the season in May is Almost Heaven – John Denver’s America.
