Support volunteer health providers and qualified We Care patients by providing essential pharmaceuticals, medical supplies medical equipment and more. Examples include cataract lenses for surgery, prescription medications, transportation to medical appointments, orthopedic supplies and post surgery medical supplies. The Foundation also supports the We Care Clinic in the Gifford Health Center. The We Care Program was established in 1991 to provide free specialty medical care by coordinating care with the program’s 130 volunteer medical professionals to benefit uninsured IRC Residents in need.
