Friends’ mission is to create and maintain a
beautiful, serene sanctuary in the center of Port St.
Lucie that is environmentally sound and naturally
diverse and to provide educational, cultural and
recreational opportunities for all who visit.

Description of Event: 3rd Annual Art Show in
The Gardens. Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022 from 9 a.m.
to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022 from 9 a.m. to
3 p.m. (rain or shine). Highlighting local, regional
and renowned artists in the mediums of original
- 2D, 3D, jewelry and fine crafts. Music, dancing,
food trucks and more. Food, snack and beverage
vendors. Art Raffles and local Non-Profit
Agencies. The 14th Annual Botanica Garden
Festival. Saturday Feb. 12, 2022 and Sunday Feb.
13, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A two-day plant
sale of horticulture, home and outdoor specialists
from around Florida and more, including food,
music and dance. Taste of the Tropics. Saturday
June 11, 2021 . Annual plant and craft sale
featuring a Taste of the Tropics. 8:30 a.m. - 2
p.m. In cooperation with the Treasure Coast Rare
Fruit Club, explore the wonderful world of tropical
fruits available on the Treasure Coast and join
in tasting tropical fruit grown locally as well as a
collection of local arts and crafts. Find what you
need to make your garden grow and sparkle, and
talk with the experts.

mentoring relationships that ignite the power
and promise of youth. We envision a future where
youth graduate with a plan for their future and a

Main Fundraising Event: The Big Taste of
Martin County
Date: Oct. 12, 2021
Location: Stuart Jet Center from 5:30-8:30p.m.
Description of Event: The 2021 Big Taste of
Martin County is presented by Publix Super
Markets Charities, and has been a signature
fundraising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters
of Palm Beach & Martin Counties (BBBS) over
the last 25 years. This event reflects the best in
culinary presentation as well as the very best of
community camaraderie for a most deserving
cause. Local restaurant chefs and vendors from
20 or more establishments prepare and serve their
delicious delights to compete for a prestigious title
in one of The Taste’s 7 award categories.

Description of Event: The Salvation Army
Women’s Auxiliary’s 20th annual Wings of Hope
Luncheon will feature guest speaker Rob Lord,
President of Cleveland Clinic Martin Health.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Compassion
House, the Salvation Army’s shelter for homeless
women and children.
