ietro Valentini drove past the boarded-up Rottie’s Restaurant for almost five years,
dreaming about reopening the ghost building on the Hutchinson Island beachfront.
Almost nine years to the day after Rottie’s closed, Valentini opened the doors to
its successor, Pietro’s on the Ocean.
“This is a dream come true,” says Valentini, who was general manager of Rottie’s.
