ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOR ST. LUCIE COUNTY

Here are just a few of the companies the EDC has assisted recently:
Amazon will open its third St. Lucie County facility in the fall. A 220,000-square-foot delivery station
is under construction in Legacy Park at Tradition. The delivery station will provide last-mile deliveries
within 45 miles and directly employ approximately 200.
Cheney Brothers received site plan approval for the first phase of what will ultimately be a
522,527-square-foot distribution center/warehouse in Port St. Lucie’s jobs corridor. The first phase of
the project will bring 275 jobs with wages at 150% of St. Lucie County’s average wage.
F.A. Precast, a premier manufacturer of architectural and artisan precast concrete, relocated its
manufacturing, assembly and distribution operations into an existing 15,000-square-foot facility
in Fort Pierce.
JBL Asset Management is developing the Interstate Commerce Center, a 207,458-square-foot Class-A
warehouse with frontage on Interstate 95 south of Okeechobee Road in Fort Pierce. The property is
designed to accommodate tenants ranging from 25,000 to 200,000 square feet and is anticipated to be
ready for occupancy in late 2022.
Seefried Industrial Properties is developing Kings Logistics Center, a 650,000-square-foot Class-A
cross-dock warehouse on 65 acres off Orange Avenue in Fort Pierce with visibility and frontage on
Interstate 95. Slated for mid-2022 delivery, the facility is ideal for warehouse, distribution, last-mile
or manufacturing uses.
