GOOD DEEDS
Rossway Swan law firm in Vero Beach hosted its 11th annual Soup Bowl on Dec. 6. The
event benefited the Samaritan Center for Homeless Families and was attended by nearly 200
guests and visitors.
The luncheon featured a variety of soups
and desserts all homemade by employees
of the firm. Handmade pottery bowls made
by local artists were also available for sale at
the event. All proceeds were delivered to the
Samaritan Center following the event.

2101 Indian River Blvd., Suite 200, in
Vero Beach. The company also has offices in

Ronald Bierman is the
new president of Sebastian
River Medical Center.
Bierman previously
was president of Trumbull
Regional Medical Center
in Warren, Ohio. Steward
Health Care owns both
Sebastian Medical Center
and Trumbull.
Bierman replaces Kyle Sanders, who resigned
in November.
Kathie Elias has been appointed the art
school manager of the Vero Beach Museum
of Art.
For the past year, Elías worked as the
curator of education at the Foosaner Art
Museum in Melbourne. Her relationship with
the Foosaner began early in 2017, when she
worked as a guest curator
of education, designing
and executing educational
programming that centered
on diverse audiences, accessibility
and outreach.
Elías is a graduate
student at Florida Tech and
plans to earn her master’s
degree in public administration in the fall of
2020. She holds a bachelor’s degree in arts
and humanities from the University of Puerto
Rico in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
IMG Citrus, a family-owned business has
announced the upcoming retirement of IMG
Citrus Vice President Veronique Sallin after 40
years with the company. Sallin’s retirement
will officially begin at the end of the 2019-
2020 Florida season.
During her tenure with IMG Citrus, Sallin
built and maintained strong relationships
with customers worldwide.
The company also has announced the promotion
of Sydney Allison as director of sales.
Allison has been with the company since
2016, and her career within the company
advanced rapidly, beginning with her role as
the export-import program coordinator. She
then progressed to sales manager, where she
reported directly to Sallin.
KUDOS
Hayslip Landscape in Fort Pierce was honored for its landscape projects during the Florida
Nursery, Grower and Landscape Association’s annual landscape show in Orlando.
The association cited Hayslip’s landscape and hardscape work on the McCain residence in
Vero Beach. Hayslip completed the work in the spring of 2018. The award marks the 19th that
Hayslip has received.
