Michelle Moore Burney (design
editor) has worked as Indian
River Magazine’s design editor
for more than a decade. A native
of the Treasure Coast, she is a
graduate of the University of
Central Florida.
Susan Burgess (writer) is a
veteran Treasure Coast reporter
who has written for Indian
River Magazine for more than a
decade and previously worked
at the Fort Pierce News-Tribune
and the Jensen Beach Mirror. She is a graduate of
Columbia University and New York University.
Publisher and Editor Gregory
Enns is a former newspaper
editor and reporter with tours at
the Tampa Bay Times and Sarasota
Herald Tribune, where he was
business editor, and Fort Pierce
News-Tribune, all in Florida, and
The Tuscaloosa News in Alabama. He returned to
the Treasure Coast in 2006 to start Indian River
Magazine Inc., a multimedia company that now
produces a portfolio of six different magazines.
A Treasure Coast native, he is chairman of the
annual Treasure Coast History Festival and is a
director of the Florida Magazine Association.
Tom Kindred is the regional
director of the Florida Small
Business Development Center
at Indian River State College. He
is the former owner of Sunrise
Tractor & Equipment and was
the first executive director of
Main Street Fort Pierce. He is an adjunct professor
at IRSC and received the 2014 Impact Award
from the National Association for Community
College Entrepreneurship.
Allen Osteen (associate publisher)
is a Treasure Coast native and
longtime Vero Beach resident.
Besides his involvement with
Indian River Magazine, he is also
co-owner of East Coast Lumber
& Supply Co. In 2018, the Indian
River State College Foundation named him
Entrepreneur of the Year.
Lisa Crawford (assistant to the
publisher) has a 30-year career
in sales and marketing, including
running her own magazine
on Long Island for 10 years. She
manages many of the administrative
duties for Indian River
Magazine Inc.
Rody Johnson (writer) was
raised in Vero Beach. He was
with the Harris Corp. in Melbourne
and later publisher of
the Vero/Sebastian Sun. He is
the author of three books relating
to Vero Beach history: Different
Battles, Dodgertown and An Ice Age Mystery.
Bernie Woodall (writer) grew up
in Fort Pierce and spent 21 years
as a wire service reporter with
Reuters in New York, Los Angeles,
Detroit and Fort Lauderdale.
He is a graduate of John Carroll
High School, Indian River State
College and Macalaster College in Minnesota.
Jerry Shaw (editor) is a transplant
from Brick Township, N.J.,
but has lived in Florida for most
of his life, working for newspapers,
tabloids and magazines.
Jerry lives in Fort Pierce where
he enjoys beach activities and
edits books.
Pattie Durham (copy editor) has
worked in journalism and education
on the Treasure Coast for
more than four decades. She is a
longtime copy editor for Indian
River Magazine.
Gaettane A. Paul (copy editor)
was born in Stamford, Conn.,
and grew up on the Treasure
Coast. She has an English literature
degree from Palm Beach
Atlantic University.
Anthony Inswasty (photographer)
has spent most of his
life on the Treasure Coast. He
is a graduate of the University
of North Florida and is trained
in traditional printmaking and
papermaking. F
